MICRO-Groups

Designed to grow us in the word and to multiply ourselves into others, Micro-Group Strategy is a tool and grassroots approach that can launch anytime. It simply requires one facilitator to coordinate, who will find ONE other learner, who in turn agrees to find ONE other learner.

Micro-Groups are focused around two rhythms:
a daily bible reading & simple journal
a targeted micro-group connection weekly of 30-90 minutes.

The group format aims for three potential results reflecting spiritual growth:

  1. Reproducing disciples who reach others. Learners can become leaders in this format. The greatest success is a learner who goes on to lead their own group.

  2. Invitation into further spiritual growth and community. We hope a Micro-Group is born out of a Missional Community, or perhaps a few Micro-Groups grow to form a new Missional Community of their own.

  3. Ongoing spiritual growth in the word. Some Micro-Groups may need more time and will continue further scripture plans together (New Testament, Psalms, etc). We long for this to be an intentional plan to grow how we live for Christ.

gospel reading micro-groups

Take a first step into a Micro-Group approach focusing on the person of Jesus. Use our reading plan to work through the gospels, pick up a journal from campus, and share helpful tips with us that work in your micro-group along the way.

Community Groups

Community Groups focus on specific places of need or gaps of spiritual formation to increase our obedience and gospel influence in our community. Examples can be marriage, parenting, or other life issues.

Community groups are offered when thee combine: a called, passionate leader is compelled to make a difference, has gifts to help teach & coordinate a group in an areas, and is affirmed in this after sharing the vision with the elders.

Do you have a burden you believe God has given you to lead for an area of brokenness? We want to pray and dream with you!
