Waypoint Church began with a question...could two existing churches be better together than working separately? Could we do more for the kingdom where we’ve been called by combining the two churches into one?

Upon landing a yes to these questions after months of prayerful deliberation, God has continued to confirm the combination of the two churches really is a complimentary work. It became a decision of obedience over convenience for our churches. Coming together as one church would maximize the best of both congregations toward greater kingdom impact.

Like a marriage, two churches becoming one was only possible because of the birth of each unique church as a beginning. God used the faithfulness of early families, churches and sponsoring organizations to assist in the difficult task of planting a church. This merger that has Waypoint Church is a reflection of the stories of provision and ministry over years at each starting church. The experiences that formed a strong foundation for each planted church is now fueling the mission and ministry of Waypoint Church.

Water’s Edge Community Church and Bethel Bible Fellowship helped to birth Waypoint Church by God’s faithfulness in these early years.
