What to Expect…
We look forward to meeting you!
Here are answers to a few questions to help make your first visit easier and less stressful.
Where do I go when I get there?
Waypoint Campus Map
Look for our Welcome Team as you head towards the Worship Center. Our new Front Porch is being finalized, and we’re excited to open a dedicated area to greet guests on the right as you enter. You can’t miss the large lanyards and offers to help. These leaders are in place to guide you and answer questions.
We recommend arriving a little early to check-in kids, get comfortable in new surroundings, and find a seat for worship.
How long is the service?
Services last just over an hour.
What Do I Wear?
Dress up or come casual, just dress comfortably. Most of our folks are definitely in the casual crew.
What about preschool, children, & student Ministries?
Preschool children classes are in our Connections Building (house) during the entire hour. Your little ones will be cared for by amazing preschool teachers & volunteers who will love and lead your kids while you are in worship.
Grade-school kids (K-5th) start in worship service and are dismissed to an environment just for them in Community Building 2 prior to the message. Feel free to walk with them to meet leaders and see where to pick them up after the service.
Students (6th-12th) worship together with the generations in each worship service time. Students also play a big role in serving around campus on Sunday morning in various roles with kids, greeting, behind the scenes, or even on stage in worship. Sunday nights are created for students to find meaningful connection in their own Missional Communities with peers, through monthly student-led worship times at StepOut, and in monthly CREW gatherings. Look to connect your student with other peers on a Sunday morning in our Cafe in Community Bldg 1 in between services to make an easier path into Sunday night opportunities.
How Does children’s check-in work?
First-time guests can PRE-REGISTER KIDS prior to ease the Sunday they attend worship in a new place. (Submit by Saturday night) All first-time guests sending kids to a class (birth-5th grade) will go to the check-in desk in the Connections Building.
Once your family is in our check-in system, the process in the future is simple. Find computer check-in stations in the Worship Center foyer or Connections Building to print tags for each child & the all-important parent pick-up tag for you.
what’s the best way to find connection?
We want everyone to find a meaningful engagement on Sunday and beyond so Waypoint feels like home. Connect with us using our CONNECT CARD or a CARE CARD that you can find on our START HERE PAGE.
Taking that step helps us listen for the kind of meaningful engagement you need to make Waypoint feel like home.
Have any other QUESTIONS?
We understand going to church for the first time can be a little scary. Let us know if an answer to a specific question would make it an easier first experience. We can't wait to meet you!
