At Scuba VBS, kids dive into friendship with God! Scuba is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid.

Waypoint JH/HS Students (completed 6th-12th) will serve children and families through our partnership with STCH Ministries on TWO DIFFERENT campuses this summer. We will return to the Children's Home near Beeville, Texas AND add a second site at the Homes for Families campus near Goliad.
Students take the lead on ministry efforts to love on children with elements from VBS, sports games, relational moments, and student-led worship.
Students involved will be required to attend trainings to help prepare to lead.

Waypoint ADULTS can join a project partnering with our STUDENTS on mission.
TWO one-day MISSION TEAMS (men’s & women’s) will minister at the Homes for Families Campus.
*Women’s Team (4-6 women). Scope is fitness, devotional, prayer support, etc.
*Men’s Team (4-6 men). Scope is targeted facility needs, campus touches, etc.
*Each adult team requires a point-leader to coordinate, arrange a site visit for planning, recruit team members, plan with Waypoint staff to secure resources, and arrange travel/meals for the day.
StepOut returns as an expression of student-led and initiated times of worship. Students 6th-12th grade have a time of worship, small groups on site, and fun packed into the time together.
We are facing potential storms during the time when our serving projects are set to happen. We will be monitoring this and praying that the weather forecast might shift in our favor around the three hours of our efforts – or a portion of our time at least.
We plan to make it happen tomorrow as MOST of our projects are NOT outside this year.
Our Katy Responds projects have been sent to a single location earlier today – now only tackling the project at the residence in Katy.
Our Brookshire and Richmond sites all have inside work for a portion.
As well, all the projects at Waypoint are indoors.
Projects potentially impacted: the Covering, Fence, and Weeding project sites.
Serving opportunities are available for all ages and in various roles.

Students from several different churches in the area will join a weekend for fun, spiritual growth, and building relationships. Worship times and Service projects happen together for a greater impact. Plus, individual groups and overnight stays will take place in homes from your church, using leaders chosen by your church.
One Weekend for Waypoint Students begins at Waypoint at 6:15pm for dinner. We will then transport to our host homes for the evening. ONE Weekend concludes after worship and our student gathering at Waypoint Church on Sunday at noon.
Cost is $35 and includes everything for the weekend.
Current Waypoint Release Form is required.
Indicate if your student will leave for any portion of the weekend in the time away portion.
(Parents must coordinate with host home to determine the location for pickup and return)
Student drivers must leave keys with host home parent and are only able to drive to church Sunday morning.
Overnight homes are led by Waypoint families based on gender/age group.
Clothes for the weekend, including messy clothes for service project, Sleeping bag/pillow, toiletries, medicines, Bible, pen. Completed Medical Release Form (available below or at registration table), 2-liter drink & snacks to share.
