UNLOCKING FAITH - Foyer Expansion Campaign
Each week, Waypoint has such excitement for new faces and the works to navigate the hurdles of growth we feel. As we move into a new season of change navigating new Student Ministry expressions while meeting realities ahead, we see God at work!
Especially in these seasons, wisdom calls us to seek God as a church in two constants; in specific prayer and in steps of faith!
Intentional seasons of prayer began as church-wide prayer nights last fall and continue monthly. Our elders have carried this weighty decision before the Lord, asking for open doors, discernment, and the conviction to step in faith.
Our last ambitious step of faith regarding our facilities was Imagine Together four years ago. God provided the resources to bring Community Building 2 online for kids, students, classes, and community. Our aim of $30,000 in six weeks became over $40,000!
Waypoint, your elders believe now is the time for a second step in faith through what we see as God’s open door.

The Unlocking Faith campaign is a new challenge to Waypoint in a Foyer Expansion Project for our Worship Center.
This is a bold step of faith through a door God is opening to impact everyone in the days ahead.
It will require a FAITH to SEE & a FAITH to GIVE.
FAITH to SEE
The FOYER is our front door to welcome the community to worship with us & to experience Waypoint’s mission. In our new assimilation path for guests, our foyer is the start to a meaningful engagement into the church. We need a BIGGER DOOR to open a LARGER SPACE to reach more God is sending.
This expansion adds valuable space to the current undersized Foyer. It will create an improved front-facing entrance to our worship space. The project will wrap the east side of the building, giving the ability to effectively greet guests and welcome everyone.
Our new space provides just that…SPACE. Over 900 sq. ft. of flexible space, in a indoor-outdoor design for great function.
Waypoint will begin using this space starting the day it’s completed. Insider10 gatherings will meet in the east Foyer. This new addition provides the first space dedicated as an asset to connect with guests at Waypoint.
Imagine connecting with others each week regardless of weather and without stepping through conversations. Can you see it?!
FAITH to GIVE
Give of Sweat and Passion
Unlocking FAITH to GIVE involves our finances. This expansion is an indicator of our heart and capacity to give to vision of today and tomorrow. More budget details below.
Unlocking FAITH to GIVE also means our time, sweat, and passion. Ron Peters is volunteering to lead a Build Team, specifically aimed to accomplish the task at hand, and deepen our faith at Waypoint.
Everyone is needed for the work ahead. We also want to give a special call to MEN at Waypoint to help build while being built. Click the button to JOIN the team.Our gifts to serve in this project in-house helps us stretch dollars given into other needed projects. There is great value when we see our effort is a part of God’s answer to provide.
Give your PASSION to the project by sharing about it. Tell others what God is doing. Invite any who might want to serve or give financially into this kingdom investment that God is in.
He’s opening doors. He’s enabling us to grow our reach for people. He will provide a bigger door!
The NEED
The budget for this project was birthed out of the vision/need, refined in function with our elders, and designed with our architects (who gave consideration in light of our future growth plans). The gift of Ron’s experience as a builder and non-profit leader helped us in negotiating bids and using volunteers within our church where we are able.
Our budget is $150,000 for the project. Anything beyond that amount places us in a better future position for needs. Any dollars saved through contractor arrangements or by using our build team helps us stretch dollars and tackle other campus needs.
THE OPEN DOOR
Generosity is a gift in God’s church & a call to God’s church. A door of opportunity has been opened for us!
Through the generosity of givers who see God’s hand at work in Waypoint, we have a strong position of $50,000 on hand to begin the work on this project.
Further, a generous offer has been extended to double every gift given to Unlocking Faith in a matching donation up to $50,000.
For Waypoint to unlock and walk through this open door, it will mean a step of FAITH to SEE His door and to GIVE to the work.
THE GAP
We have a gap that, by faith, God can answer. Let’s Give together to supply the gap of $50,000 by June 30! Combined with the matching donation, God can enable us to reach this goal! We’re asking God to move in our collective generosity in a few short weeks!
It’s important that these gifts be given beyond what you normally give to Waypoint in our faith operating budget.
These gifts are true offerings, out of a sacrifice beyond our obedient giving to the Kingdom.
